Prerequisite Software Installation for IBM AIX




The following is an outline of the steps involved in installing the prerequisite software for running the SSC 3D Orbit Viewer application on IBM AIX.  The reader should refer to each product’s installation instructions for detailed information about installing the product.

Step 1: Install the Java^TM^ 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE)

Install Java J2SE version 1.4.2 or higher. The 32-bit version of the SDK also includes Java 3D version 1.3.\

When finished installing the prerequisite software, close this window and return to the SSC 3D Orbit Viewer application site to launch the application.
