The “Tabular Output Options” window displays all the various types of location dependent information that can be generated. They are organized into two distinct categories:
Options which allow a spacecraft’s location to be described by a Cartesian and/or spherical coordinate set in the following coordinate systems:
Description of Selected Coordinate Systems Used in SSC Programs
Options labeled ‘additional output’ (if selected) will produce information relevant to or derived from the spacecraft’s location.
Each selected item will become a column-heading in the output. Their associated data will be listed below them.
When data cannot be generated or the item selected is not appropriate for a given spacecraft and time, “N/A” will appear in the output under the corresponding column header.
Restrictions/constraints may be placed on the data that is to be generated as a means to fine tune a request.
There exist two types of constraints that can be placed on the data that is to be generated:
Constraints of this type will replace the need for scanning long listings of data for minimum or maximum values.
Note - When one or more minimum or maximum are requested only one needs to be true for the corresponding line of data to be included in the output.
Constraining the generated data by specifying lower and upper limits will produce final results tailored to include only the data whose values are within the limits.
Note - When two or more sets of range filters have been specified the result of each range filter (being either ‘passed’ or ‘failed’) are either ‘and’ed or ‘or’ed as a means for determining whether a line of data should be kept for output. The radio button “Range filtering method” allows one to make that choice. The default for this radio button is “AND” which means that for a given point in time, all specified range filters must be ‘passed’ in order for the corresponding line of requested data to be included in the output. The alternative requires for only ONE of the specified range filters to be ‘passed’ in order for a line of data to be included as part of the output.
